Passover

Community Second Passover Seder, Tuesday, March 26th, 6 PM.  A full seder and catered fish/dairy/vegetarian dinner. Menu forthcoming soon. Members $60, Non-Members $80, Children 10-21 $25, Under 10 Free. Anyone needing a voucher from UJA Federation please contact Rabbi Jill or the Office.

Shabbat Across America: Learner’s Service & Shabbat Potluck Dinner: Friday, 3/1, 6 PM (Dinner at 6; service at 7). Come, learn, sing, and enjoy.

Tu B’Shevat Mystical Seder: Friday: 1/25, 6:30 PM: music and dinner provided. Donations gratefully accepted.

Original Purim Spiel and Service: Saturday, 2/23, 7 PM, An Actors’ Temple Extravaganza with professional actor-comedian members.

Morning Holiday Services: The Torah will be chanted. Pesach, First Day, 3/26; Pesach, 7th Day, 4/1; Shavuot 5/15; all services at 10:30 AM.

Holocaust Remembrance Service: Friday, 4/5, 7 PM: Music and poetry.

Erev Shavuot Holiday Celebration & Potluck Dairy Dinner: Tuesday, 5/14, 6 PM. (Dinner at 6; service begins at 7). Study Session follows the service.

Education for Adults and Children

  • Adult Torah Study: Join us Wednesdays 7:30-9:30 PM, studying the Psalms in English with Rabbi Jill at 96th Street. Class resumes October 10. You are invited to join us by phone or in person.
  • Read Hebrew in One Day! Sunday, 11/4, 10 AM, in conjunction with NJOP, Free. Please pre-register so that we know how many people to expect.
  • Hebrew School for K-4; registration for Fall 2012. Bar/Bat Mitzvah registration ongoing. Hebrew School website by Noah Hichenberg.
