Judy Buchman joins us for song, a celebration of the 70th Anniversary of a country composed of family. Phyllis Malamud sponsors the Oneg Shabbat in loving memory of her Father, Cantor Louis Malamud.

Yom Hashoah Shabbat - Holocaust Remembrance Service (Fri, Apr 13th, 2018, 7pm)

Speaker David E. Feldman speaks about his book, Pilgrimage from Darkness, Nuremberg to Jerusalem: a German Christian boy in the Hitler Youth converted to Judaism, became an observant Jew, and made Aliyah to Israel. Pianist David Gross joins us for the service; Oneg Shabbat will be sponsored by Barbara Bova.

EREV SHAVUOT, Saturday, May 19th, 6 PM: Potluck Dinner, Holiday Service, and Shavuot Study Session. Dinner at 6 PM, Service begins at 7 PM; please bring a dairy or vegetable dish to share. Lily Galperin plays Baroque music from Many Lands during dinner.

SHAVUOT MORNING SERVICE, Sunday, May 20th, 10:30 AM: Holiday Service and Chanting of the 10 Commandments. There will be a Yizkor Service and a Holiday Oneg.

In addition to our second night community seder, we also invite you to attend the special Holiday and Shabbat services for Passover:
  • Passover 8th Day: Saturday, April 7th, 10:30 AM: Torah & Yizkor Service.
  • Passover 7th Day: Friday, April 6th, 10:30 AM: Hallel & Torah Service.
  • Passover Shabbat: Saturday, March 31st, 10:30 AM, Torah Service, Discussion, and Oneg Shabbat.
  • Early Passover Erev Shabbat: Friday, March 30th, 5 PM. Rabbi Robert Teixeira officiates.

A PURIM SPEAKEASY or THE ROARING PURIM SPIEL! SERVICE, Original Spiel, written by Bob Greenberg, with song parodies by Eric Zaccar, starring professional actors, dancers, and singers: Aron Bederson, Barbara Bova, Lilly Galperin, Bob Greenberg, Elyas Isaacs, Sandy Rosenberg, Melissa Sobol, Eric Zaccar, Rabbi Jill Hausman, and Pianist James Besser. There will be a sing along, Megillah reading, Holiday Oneg, and lots and lots of laughter and fun! All are welcome. No Charge.

Come celebrate Shabbat/Tu B’Shevat, the New Year of the Trees, at our Kabbalistic Seder, with Music, Singing, and Dance. Wine will flow and we will sample the native fruits of Israel as we raise ourselves through the Four Worlds. A Vegetarian Potluck Dinner to follow. Please bring a dairy/.vegetarian dish to share.

Lily Galperin will play a piano program during dinner: Baroque Music (17th & 18th Centuries) From Many Lands, Part II. Free of Charge. All are invited! Food for body and soul!
