  • SHABBAT, Friday, November 22, 7 PM: Service, with speaker Carol Lempert, & Oneg Shabbat. Carol’s Topic is: BOUNCE your way to less stress. Build resilience and cope with change in 6 simple steps. We commemorate the Yahrzeits of: Florence Belsky (19), Mr. Rinsler (21), Rebecca Naomi Barrie, Bernice Helf (23), and Bessie Ziffer.
  • SHABBAT AM, Saturday, November 23, 10:30 AM: Service, Discussion, & Oneg Shabbat, Parashat Vayeshev, Mark & Carol Cohen sponsor the Oneg Shabbat in honor of Carol’s Birthday.


 LOOKING AHEAD

  • Friday, November 29: Third night of Chanukah. A regular service, with Chanukah Candle lighting.
  • Saturday, November 30: Bar Mitzvah of Ned Stimpson, 10 AM. Luncheon after the service. All are invited.
  • CHANUKAH CELEBRATION: Friday, December 6th, Latke Party & Potluck 6 PM, Sing Along Service 7 PM, with Aron Bederson, James Besser, Judy Buchman, & Ira Shimshi. Open Mike 8:30-10 PM. Please bring a dairy/veggie dish to share & bring your talents!
  • Human Rights Shabbat, Friday, December 13th at 7 PM.
  • Shabbat Service for the Performing Community, 2nd Fridays at 6 PM. Next Service 12/13.
  • Next Children’s Service: 6:30-7 PM on 12/20; All are invited!


EDUCATION

  • WEEKLY TORAH STUDY for Adults: Join us Wednesdays, 7:30-9:30 PM, studying in English with Rabbi Jill at 96th Street. Reading the Book of Exodus.
  • Hebrew School for K-5 Mondays at 4 PM; Bar/Bat Mitzvah registration ongoing.
