This Week

  • SHABBAT CHANUKAH, Friday, November 29, 7 PM: 3rd night of Chanukah. A regular service with Chanukah Candle lighting. We commemorate the Yahrzeits of: Shirley Lauro’s Mother, Jacob Svei (27).
  • Early SHABBAT AM, Saturday, November 30, 10 AM: Bar Mitzvah of Ned Stimpson & Kiddush sponsored by the Cornfield-Stimpson Family, Parashat Miketz. All are invited.

Looking Ahead

  • CHANUKAH CELEBRATION: Friday, December 6th, Latke Party & Potluck Dinner, 6 PM, Sing Along Service, 7 PM, with Aron Bederson, James Besser, Judy Buchman, Fred Fastow, & Ira Shimshi. Open Mike 8:30-10 PM. We will be joined by members and clergy of The New Synagogue. Please bring a dairy/veggie dish to share & bring your talents!
  • Human Rights Shabbat, Friday, December 13th at 7 PM.
  • Shabbat Service for the Performing Community, 2nd Fridays at 6 PM. Next Service 12/13.
  • Next Children’s Service: 6:30-7 PM on 12/20; All are invited!

Education

  • WEEKLY TORAH STUDY for Adults: No Class 11/27 & 12/4. Meeting Tues. 12/3. Join us Wednesdays, 7:30-9:30 PM, studying in English with Rabbi Jill at 96th Street. Reading the Book of Exodus.
  • Hebrew School for K-5 Mondays at 4 PM; Bar/Bat Mitzvah registration ongoing.
