HIGH HOLY DAYS AT THE ACTORS’ TEMPLE

 We at The Actors’ Temple invite you to celebrate the Holy Days with us with open hearts and joy!

Please join us for beautiful, spiritual services to usher in the New Year led by Rabbi/Cantor Jill Hausman and Cantorial Assistant Aron Bederson, with pianist James Besser, and violinist Marina Kifferstein joining us for Kol Nidre.

ROSH HASHANAH:

Erev Rosh Hashanah: Sunday, September 29, 7 PM

Rosh Hashanah Morning: Monday, September 30, 10 AM

FREE Rosh Hashanah Service for the Community: Tuesday September 30, 7:30 PM

Rosh Hashanah 2nd Morning Creative Service with music and poetry: Tuesday, October 1, 10 AM

Tashlich following the 10/1 service, approx. 2 PM, bread & snack provided; we will walk to the Hudson River

YOM KIPPUR:

Kol Nidre Tuesday October 8, 6:30 PM: a musical service with violin and piano

Yom Kippur Wednesday, October 9, 10 AM; Yizkor approximately 1 PM. The synagogue will be open all day for reflection and a 3 PM study session. N’ila at 5:30 PM; Break-the-fast, 7:00 PM, included in ticket price.

We are a warm, accepting congregation where each person is valued. Please be with us for a spiritual beginning to the New Year.

Please note: You qualify for a significant discount on High Holiday, Passover Seder, and many event tickets only if you are a member, and our membership year now begins on September 1st, so please join the Actors' Temple, or renew your existing membership, and save even more.

Whether you are renewing an existing membership or joining for the first time, buying your High Holiday tickets, or purchasing space in our new Yizkor Book, you can do all these things at our online store, even putting them all into a single order, which can accommodate as many items as needed. This will save you time, effort, and possibly even a postage stamp.

If you are a new member, or an existing member who needs to change some information (address, phone, e-mail, family information, etc.) please make all your purchases online, then print and fill out the membership form, and return it to us, so that we can keep all of your extended information on file.

To provide the names and text for those being honored in the Yizkor Book, we recommend providing us with the text in two different ways, to make sure we receive the information correctly and on time.
